Chanderi fabric is light-weight, glossy ,transparent and has a sheer texture. The name of the fabric came from the small place 'Chanderi' which is situated close to river Betwa in Guna district, Ashoknagar ,Madhya Pradesh. Chanderi are country’s prettiest diaphanous and holds great historical importance and specialized in producing finest handloom.
Chanderi sarees in silk cotton where ""Tana"" (Warp) is of Silk and ""Bana"" (Weft) is of Cotton embellished an extra weft motifs. Known for their sheer texture, light weight and a glossy transparency which account for their delicate texture.
These Sarees are hand wash and comes with a dimension of 6.5 Meter with Blouse (80cms) in length and 48 intches width."
