Women used to paint their walls during the marriage to reflect on happiness and celebrations. The white colour in these hand-painted designs is executed using a bamboo stick chewed at one end to make a supple paint brush. This colour is prepared from a mixture of rice flour and water mixed with gum. This terracotta vase brings a touch of timeless elegance to any setting.
